Belly Dance Classes by Zaramaya
Classes are held at Zara's Emporium retail store/studio located at 1327 Tehama Street, just north of the old downtown Redding Mall. See a map.
Classes are $42.00 per month.
Drop-ins are $10.00 to $12.00 depending on what level of participation you choose.

After the first month, when a student decides to continue lessons, he/she must purchase a yearly Privilege Card. Since dance is seasonal, this small fee helps keep the studio in operation by paying bills that still need paid even during slow seasons. Additionally, each card has special privileges and discounts depending on which card you choose.
Initiate--$15.00 per year. This card is for a student who chooses to commit to one class per week at $42.00 per month. Students with this card may attend extra classes at $12.00 per drop-in. This card gives a 5% store discount and there is a discount if you hire a dancer to perform for a special event. Initiates are not eligible to attend professional troupe classes or rehearsals, but may dance with the student troupe.
Priestess --$20.00 per year. This card is for students who choose to commit to two classes per week at $62.00 per month (a $20.00 savings). There is a 10% discount on all store purchases and a discount on performances if you hire a dancer for a special event. Drop-ins, including professional troupe training classes, are only $10.00 per class. This includes special monthly workshops such as costuming classes, etc. Those with a Priestess Card may dance with the student troupe and/or the professional troupe.
Goddess--$25.00 per year. This card entitles the student to unlimited classes for $77.00 per month. This means there is no charge for drop-ins, troupe training, special classes, such as costuming, zills etc. The store discount is 15%. If you book a dancer it is 25% off. Those with a Goddess Card may dance with the student troupe and/or the professional troupe.
Gypsy Card--$30.00 per year. This card is for those free-spirits who cannot bring themselves to make a commitment or who have scheduling problems with home or work, or perhaps they study with another teacher and just want to supplement their training. With this card, they may drop-in any time for $12.00. You must have had some belly dance training to use this method of attendance. Gypsies are not eligible to dance with the professional troupe but they may perform with the student troupe.
