What if I'm not happy with my order?

At Zara's Emporium,  our goal is quality products with personalized service at affordable prices. Being human, we sometimes make mistakes, so if you are not happy, rest assured, it's not because we don't care. We will do whatever we can to fix it, whether it's a refund, exchange or upgrade. Just let us know.

Why is my order taking so long?

Usually when a customer contacts us to track an order, the order arrives on the next day or two.  Knowing what to expect makes it easier to wait. Many people do not read the shipping or policies pages and end up feeling "out of the loop" so to speak. On our policies page, it explains our procedures very clearly and asks a 2-3 week time frame.

At Zara's Emporium, we work long hours Monday-Thursday so we can travel with our store on weekends. This means we send out our orders once per week, and are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Our policies page also explains that, while we stock most items, all sizes, colors and styles are not always in stock all of the time, so some things may need to be ordered from the wholesaler.

It also explains that if time is of the essence, you should call to make sure the correct item is in stock, and that we can get it out to you on time for your special event.

We aren't trying to be the fastest source on the net, but we do offer a large variety of products and we care about your satisfaction. We do want to help you out with time limits if we can.
 

Is it safe to order online?

We use the highest industry standard and accepted SSL Secure Servers which automatically encrypt all information, including credit card numbers, before it leaves your web browser to travel to us across the Internet. The major Web browsers, including Netscape Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer use this technology.

 Quickbooks is our credit card processor, and uses the same security standards, which are the best available. We want you to be comfortable shopping with us and we understand your concern about online credit card security. Rest assured, you can shop safely and with confidence.

What if there is an unauthorized use of my credit card?
It is not possible that an unauthorized use of your credit card occurs on the Zara's Emporium website. This is because our site does not take the numbers or info. Only our shopping cart does, and that is a Quickbooks page operation processing millions of dollars worth of transactions per day.  They are very professional and have the highest security standards available.


How will I know you've received my order? 
The shopping cart will automatically send you a confirmation email which details your order and includes an invoice number. You can print out the e-mail or make a note of this information for your future reference.

What about sales tax?

If your shipping address is in California, you will be charged 7.25% sales tax automatically by the shopping cart and it will be included in your total.

What happens to my personal information I give you?

We collect no information on our site. It is all handled through the Cart Manager shopping cart, through the Quickbooks server. They both have an exceptional privacy policy.
 

Can I make a purchase by telephone or mail?
You can print a snail-mail form and pay by check or money order. Click here to print a form.                                        

You can pay through Paypal if you want. Pay the total due to: zara540@hotmail.com   Be sure to indicate all necessary size, color (etc) type of info as you are ordering without benefit of the cart.

You may order over the phone by calling Zara at 530-209-0456 on  Tues, Wed, or Thurs. between noon and 5:00 PM.

  If you do not get the help you need here, email us or call 530-209-0456.  The shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 5:30pm. All phone messages and emails are checked and returned during those days and hours.
